Privacy policy – EONTYRE

This privacy policy describes how Tadait AB ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares personal data when you use the Android app EONTYRE (the "App") and the related EONTYRE services. The App is intended for business users (such as tyre workshops and resellers) who have an EONTYRE account.

1. Developer and data controller

Tadait AB, company reg. no. 556964-7067, Hyllie Boulevard 34, 215 32 Malmö, Sweden, is the controller of the processing of your personal data.

2. Data we collect

Account information

When you sign up or log in we process your name, e-mail address, phone number, password (stored in hashed form), company name, company registration number and company address. Accounts are created by the garage or workshop (our business customer) you work for. This data is provided by you or your organisation.

Camera and photos

The App asks for permission to use your device camera to scan barcodes and to take photos of tyres. Barcode scanning is processed on your device only and the camera image is not stored or sent to us. Photos of tyres that you take in the App are uploaded to our servers and linked to your organisation's account. The App only accesses the camera when you use that feature, and you can withdraw the permission at any time in your Android settings.

Usage and technical data

Our servers log technical data such as IP address, device and app version, and timestamps when the App communicates with our services. This is used for security and troubleshooting.

We do not collect your precise or approximate location, contacts, or SMS/call data.

3. How we use the data

• To create and manage your account and authenticate you (performance of a contract).
• To provide the App's features (performance of a contract).
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix errors (legitimate interest).
• To answer your support requests (legitimate interest/contract).
• To comply with legal obligations such as accounting rules (legal obligation).

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Sharing of data

We share data only with service providers that process it on our behalf (such as hosting and IT providers), under data processing agreements, and with authorities when required by law. Your company's administrators and your EONTYRE reseller may see account data relevant to your organisation. The App does not contain third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs.

5. Security

Data is transmitted between the App and our servers using encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords are stored hashed, and access to personal data is limited to personnel who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep account data for as long as your account is active. When an account is deleted we remove or anonymise the personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep it longer by law (for example accounting records, normally 7 years).

How to request deletion of your account and data

Accounts in the App are created by the garage or workshop you work for, which uses EONTYRE as its system. To have your account and personal data deleted, send an e-mail to support@eontyre.com from the address registered on your account with the subject "Delete my account", or ask your organisation's administrator to contact us. Deletion is completed within 30 days. See also eontyre.com/delete-account. Photos uploaded on behalf of your organisation belong to the organisation's records and may be kept until the organisation itself is removed. You can also request deletion of only some of your data using the same method.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. You can withdraw any consent given at any time. Contact us at the address above to exercise your rights.

8. Children

The App is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Complaints

If you believe we process your personal data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority, for example the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or the Norwegian Datatilsynet.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be communicated in the App or by e-mail.
